Can one of the mitmproxy developers port this application to the android platform? it will be great to use it directly on android.
I’ve tried to install mitmproxy on android using "pip install mitmproxy" inside the popular Qpython app but unfortunately it failed to install some of its dependencies.

I have no idea what might be involved in porting mitmproxy to Android - I would certainly expect that some of the more complicated dependencies we have would be essentially untested on Android. Could you please open a bug tracker ticket detailing exactly what you did, and what the failure was you saw. If this is reasonably simple to support, it might be interesting to pursue.
