MITMProxy use as Burp?

I read the doc. But I was wondering if a victim which has been MITM with Ettercap for example, could have her HTTP request been proxying like Burp tool did (here with mitmproxy indeed) ?

Can I do this kind of proxing with mitmproxy from an incoming HTTP request and then forward it to the webserver ?
