How do use this from python? I don’t want to use subprocess to launch mitmdump. As someone has already posted, the docs for this probably awesome software are not to be found (other than cursory info at [docs.mitmproxy.org](http://docs.mitmproxy.org) which makes a lot of assumptions that leaves noobs like me out in the cold).

Also how can i get mitmdump to dump to stdout?

Actually I just want to mess with headers. Perhaps mitmproxy is overkill? It just looks like it could be so awesome.

I tried looking at the source code. I don’t understand it.

I found a little nugget at [Start and stop mitmproxy from Python script](https://discourse.mitmproxy.org/t/start-and-stop-mitmproxy-from-python-script/677)
