# AMF support not working?

hi,

I recently realized that AMF deserializattion support has been dropped by both versions [python 2.7 (0.18.2) and python 3.5 (2.0.1)] of mitmproxy.

why is that?

Hi,

I think AMF support was recently fixed on master and should be re-enabled with the next release. For the record, there’s only one recommended/latest/recent version of mitmproxy, we have dropped support for 2.7 entirely. 🙂

too bad 😕

the only thing that makes me still 2.7 user - one of my dependencies is AMFast - its alternatives are much slower (I am processing significal amount of AMF traffic that need to be parsed on-the-fly)
